DTC marketing agency Your ads aren't tired. Your angles are.

  1. You

Same 3 ads have been running since spring. CPA keeps creeping up.

  2. Chance Ecom

That's rarely targeting. The feed has seen those 3 angles enough. You need new angles, not new edits.

  3. You

My team's out of ideas. We just remake the winner with a new hook.

    Seen

  4. Chance Ecom

Same angle, new paint. Start with a teardown: what you run, what lasts in your category, which angles nobody's tried.

  5. You

One more. Our ads get clicks. Nobody buys.

  6. Chance Ecom

Then the ad did its job. The leak is after the click: landing page, product page, or checkout. We build those too.

You

Show me your work

Five opening hooks we made. This is what we do.

Samples: the first seconds of an ad, where most of them win or lose.

  • Mature-skin beautyDirect-to-camera, AI-generated
  • Hair toolsConfessional, AI-generated
  • Sleep and comfortProblem-first, AI-generated
  • Hair colorProduct-in-hand, AI-generated
  • Organic personal careFriend-to-friend, AI-generated

Why hooks first? Winning the first 3 seconds is step one of a UGC video that converts.

You

So what do you actually do?

Strategy first. Then the ads and pages that test it.

Eight services, one order of operations. Nobody films an ad or builds a page until we know what it is supposed to prove.

The core

Creative Strategy

Before production, we decide three things for every concept, ad or page. Most stalled accounts skipped at least one.

Angle
The reason this buyer should care, today. Pain, identity, proof, comparison.
Hook
The first three seconds that earn the next ten. Written for the feed, not the brand deck.
Mechanism
Why your product works when the last thing they tried didn't. The part most ads leave out.

all seven run on that strategy

  • Copywriting

Hooks, ad scripts, landing pages and product pages, written from the angle the strategy picked. The ad and the page it lands on argue the same case.

Use it for words that sell the idea, not just describe the product

  • Ad Creative

Creator videos, AI-generated variations and recuts for Meta and TikTok, briefed from the strategy so every ad tests a real idea.

Use it for fresh angles in the feed, every week

  • Paid Media

Meta, TikTok and Google accounts run by the same team that makes the creative. Budget follows the angles that win, and every test gets a clear read.

Use it for spend that scales with the creative, not ahead of it

  • Landing Pages

A page built around the angle that brought the click, so the promise in the ad is the first thing the buyer sees.

Use it for turning a winning ad into a winning offer

  • Store Design & Build

Full site builds and hosting, or a redesign of the store you have. Product pages and checkout laid out to sell, not to fill a template.

Use it for a store that closes what the ads open

  • CRO & Testing

Ongoing tests on the pages that get the traffic: offer, layout, copy, checkout. The numbers pick the winner.

Use it for more orders without buying more traffic

  • Email & SMS Retention

Flows and campaigns for the customers you already paid to get: welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back. Written from the same angles as the ads.

Use it for the second order, without paying for the click again

You

How do you work?

Three steps. Then we run them again, every week.

  1. 1

    Audit & strategy

We tear down the creative you run now and the pages it lands on, study what's lasting in your category, and map the angles you haven't tried.

    • Teardown of current ads
    • Category winners, studied
    • An angle map with priorities
  2. 2

    Produce at volume

Creator and AI video in batches of testable variations, plus the landing page each winning angle needs. Delivered on a weekly cadence.

    • Creator briefs from the angle map
    • AI variations of each concept
    • A landing page per angle worth backing
  3. 3

    Test, learn, scale

We read the data on both sides of the click, double down on what works and kill what doesn't. Every week, not every quarter.

    • Weekly read of ads and pages
    • Winners get more variations
    • Losers get cut, and we say why

what step 3 learns becomes next week's step 1

You

Do you know what actually works?

We counted 400 live Meta ads to see what lasts.

In July 2026 we coded 400 active US Meta ads across five DTC verticals: apparel, beauty-skincare, gadgets, home and supplements. Any ad still running past 90 days counts as a survivor, because nobody keeps paying for a loser that long.

  • 77.6%of the video ads we coded were UGC-style (121 of 156).
  • 61.2%of UGC ads survived 90 days. Studio: 60.0%. Static: 51.2%. UGC keeps pace with studio.
  • 28.6%of studio ads ran a full year or more, against 9.1% for UGC. Studio owns the evergreen tail.
our read

UGC is the volume engine for finding angles. Studio earns its budget on the few ads worth keeping for a year. Static is the cheap churn layer.

You

Who's on the other end of this?

A small agency. People think, AI does the heavy lifting.

Chance Ecom is a small creative agency for DTC ecommerce brands: the ads on Meta and TikTok, and the pages they land on. We work from one belief: most ads fail at the brief, not the edit, and most pages fail at the promise, not the pixels.

So people do the part that needs judgment, and AI does the part that needs speed. That split is how we can test more ideas per week without shipping slop.

Our posts are written by Camille Chen, a creative strategist at Chance Ecom.

People do

  • The strategy: angles, hooks, mechanism
  • Creator briefs and page structure: what each section has to prove
  • A review of every concept before it ships
  • The weekly read of what worked

AI does

  • Production speed
  • Variations of a concept
  • Recuts, captions, formats and first-pass page layouts
  • The repetitive parts nobody should do by hand

A few more questions

Ask away. These come up on most first calls.

Isn't this just AI slop with a nicer landing page?

No. AI handles production speed and variation. People do the strategy and review every concept before it goes out. If an idea is weak, making it faster doesn't help.

Why not build this in-house?

Your team sees one brand all day. We study ads across many categories, so we spot which angle patterns repeat and which ones are worn out.

Why not hire a freelancer?

A freelancer executes the brief you hand them. We work out what the brief should be first, then produce against it.

Do you build the website too?

Yes. Landing pages, product pages, full store builds with hosting, and the testing after launch. The ad and the page are one funnel, so we'd rather own both ends than argue about whose fault the conversion rate is.

What does it cost?

We quote per engagement after a short call. There's no public menu, because a brand spending $15k a month and one spending $150k need different things.

The teardown is free, so that's the easy place to start. Before any call, it helps to know what creators and agencies charge for UGC.

Which categories do you know best?

We study skincare, fitness, supplements and home goods patterns most closely. Our 90-Day Test covered apparel, beauty-skincare, gadgets, home and supplements.

What's in the free teardown?

We pull your live ads from the Meta Ad Library, set them next to the longest-running ads in your category, and send back what we'd change and test next. No obligation to hire us after.

Tell us what's broken. We'll tell you what we see.

A few short fields. The last one matters most: the more honest you are about what's not working, the more useful the teardown.

  1. You

Sent. Here's our brand and what's stuck.

  2. Chance Ecom

Got it. We pull your live ads from the Meta Ad Library, set them next to the longest-running ads in your category, and send back what we'd change and test next. We usually reply within one business day.

A good fit if you

  • sell direct-to-consumer and run paid social on Meta or TikTok
  • spend roughly $10k to $150k+ a month on ads
  • suspect the creative or the page, not targeting, is what's holding you back

Earlier than that? The creator brief template is free and a good place to start.

We usually reply within one business day. Not ready to send it? Read the blog first.
